My full name is Joanne O’Brien and I was born in Essex, UK. I studied at Macquarie University in Sydney Australia and graduated in 2009.
I lived in Sydney for nine years before returning home to England ten years ago.
I have a beautiful little boy called Blake. I like to keep fit, travel to new places and socialise with my friends.
How I Started
I originally started to think about being a healing practitioner when I was seventeen. I was studying for my A-Levels at the time but I had such incredible back pain that I could barely get out of bed. The pain was so unrelenting I couldn’t eat. I went to see my doctor and he prescribed me some painkillers but because I hadn’t eaten I couldn’t hold them down. Eventually I saw an Osteopath and I began to get better.
I initially qualified as a massage therapist. The first job that I got was working for a Chiropractor. I didn’t know anything about Chiropractic to begin with.
I was completely inspired by the Chiropractor I was working for and amazed by the results his patients were getting. So after three weeks of working there I had decided that I wanted to be a Chiropractor. I applied to University, got in and the rest is history.
The Healing Arts
I’ve chosen to devote my life to the healing arts because I know that the body can heal itself.
I am grateful I did so because it is the best feeling in the world to be part of peoples healing journeys.
I believe with all my heart in the fundamental principle of alternative healing which is that healing comes from within you.
By simply removing physical, chemical, and emotional interference from your nervous system, the life force that created you, can heal you. This allows your body to express life to its fullest potential.
I am confident in how I practice and always strive to improve it. I believe I give an excellent service for a fair fee. I want to help people.
I want you to refer and continue to refer your friends and family to me because everyone deserves to learn and take control of their own health as opposed to just taking a chemical to try and resolves their problems.
Everyone deserves to have his or her nervous system expressing optimum health.
